As the Inaugural President of the South Asian Federation of Endocrine Societies (2013–2015), Dr. Sarita Bajaj took on the mantle of leadership in Colombo, Sri Lanka in January 2013, guiding the formation of regional consensus guidelines, cross-border academic programs, and the landmark 1st Endocrine Summit of SAFES in Hyderabad (17–18 August 2013).
